Aagje Degroote

Aagje has been a member of the Cazimir team since 2026.

Aagje holds a Master of Laws (KU Leuven, 2021) and a Master of Notarial Law (VUB, 2022, cum laude). During her studies, she completed an Erasmus semester at Maastricht University (2020–2021).

She gained experience as a notarial lawyer at Berquin Notarissen (2022–2023) and completed an internship at Vroninks, Ricker, Weyts & Sacré (2021–2022), where she was involved in drafting agreements, estate planning, and family property law. Additionally, she worked as a Legal Tech Consultant at Henchman (2023–2024), guiding legal teams through the implementation of technological solutions and optimizing contract management processes.

Since 2024, Aagje has served as Legal & Brand Manager at Coretec Floors in Adelaide, Australia, an internationally active family business. She was responsible for the incorporation of the Australian legal entity and independently coordinated contract negotiations and legal follow-up. Within the family business context, she placed a strong emphasis on building sustainable relationships of trust and ensuring continuity, with a focus on stability, discretion, and long-term collaboration.

Within the Cazimir and Magnolis teams, she focuses on advising clients on family wealth structuring and estate planning. In addition, she assists family businesses in transition, translating complex legal issues into clear, supported solutions, with a particular emphasis on discretion, continuity, and personal commitment.

In her free time, Aagje enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is active and enjoys a challenge, frequently committing herself to initiatives with a social impact.
